Storyline

Set in France during the mid-1970s, Vanessa, a former dancer, and her husband Roland, an American writer, travel the country together. They seem to be growing apart, but when they linger in one quiet, seaside town they begin to draw close to some of its more vibrant inhabitants, such as a local bar/café-keeper and a hotel owner.  this type of film being more of a European cinema is a very well made and acted...it shows the depression one can go through with loss, may it be a loved one , loss of purpose maybe through loss of job , lover .... loss of connection , communication between two people .... that is just some examples , but this film sure showed that and how no matter how beautiful your surroundings a person just can't see the beauty when their mind and heart hurt as it was shown in this film.. the emptiness one must feel when they hurt and try find and wish maybe they could have the happiness of someone else's life... to try find that connection again ... to feel alive again... angie and brad sure showed that in this film ... BRAVO!!!!!....
